LGBTQ -friendly cities in America

New Human Rights Campaign Foundation is issued its annual company equality index, which assesses companies on their LGBTQ equality policy. This year, 94% of the Fortune 500 company is now considered LGBTQ friendly. Until 2002, only 3% of companies have policies that discuss discrimination based on gender identity. Most of this company has an open list of LGBTQ jobs on websites like Monster.com. However, many are still not fully friendly LGBTQ, and companies are encouraged to be more open in this regard.


American Academy of Family Physicians has a free LGBT health toolkit for doctors. The World Professional Association for Transgender Health is a very good source. The UCSF center for excellence in transgender health is an important resource for health care professionals. There are many local organizations that focus on the health needs of the older LGBTQ, including services and advocacy for GLBT elders. In addition, the National LGBT Health Education Center has a free CME available about LGBTQ health problems.


South Carolina has laws that oppose discrimination based on sexual orientation, age, or gender identity. In addition, the state of the restoration of freedom of religion of the state protects the LGBTQ population in schools. Mississippi has a bill that will make the school less friendly LGBTQ. One of these bills will allow school employees to mistreat students. In addition, South Carolina has policies in all states that prohibit gender discussions or sexual orientation in public schools. Law on the restoration of freedom of religion of the state has also created laws that limit public accommodation for LGBTQ people.


In addition to this state law, Minnesota has several cities that are considered LGBTQ friendly. One of the most famous is Madison, which has an active homosexual rights organization. These organizations expand this protection against job accommodation, housing and public. The state has also created a liaison for LGBTQ students in its school system. In addition, it has passed bills to ban "panic defense" which allows someone who is accused of committing a crime to blame the victims of cruel racial crime.


Located in Eugene, Oregon, Oregon University is a highly respected university with around 25,000 students. The Student Dean Office supports the inclusive environment through LGBTQ scholarships, speaker panels, and career advice. LGBTQ students can also choose the hall of their own residence. In addition, they have several organizations to promote their goals and make their education as if possible. This is a good place to start a career if you are friendly LGBTQ.


Although the small population of North Dakota, certain cities and states are more tolerant and friendly than others. For example, Missoula, progressive city in Big Sky State, is a friendly and progressive environment. This is home to Montana University and hosts many LGBTQ organizations and choirs. Besides Missoula, Helena and Bozeman are also considered LGBTQ friendly. However, although more homophobics, the two cities are not homophobics like their neighbor's colleagues.


Many Americans embrace the same treatment for all residents. A gallup survey shows that 63% of Americans supported same-sex marriages, up from 44% in 2010. Cities like Austin, Texas embraced the LGBTQ community in an increasingly accepted way. Some even have all states dedicated to protect the rights of LGBTQ population. This shows that the trend towards equality grows and will continue for a long time. So, what can you do to make your city a Gay friendly city?
