A Course in Miracles by Helen Schucman is a 1976 book written by Helen Schucman. The premise is that the most powerful "miracle" occurs when an individual "sees" his or her "life force rising up like a star". Schucman claimed the book was dictated directly to her, word for word from Christ. She felt the message was so powerful that she never wanted to read any other book on the subject, or ever did read any other book on the subject.

The author contends that we are "sitting on a silver mine of opportunity" with the knowledge of how to perform the miracle of the Atonement. Through the use of a workbook and its correlated CD workbook, a person can perform miracles. It has been claimed that many have been given the chance to work with their inner peace and receive the release of Atonement through this means. The author maintains that we have an "ethereal spiritual bond" with all of God's children. When we die, our soul returns to the Creator. Therefore, we all have access to the power of the Atonement.

The power of the Atonement, according to the author, is available to anyone who desires it. Through a process that allows the seeker to "see" his or her spirit desires manifest before him, the seeker obtains the ability to work with a higher degree of awareness. The higher level of perception leads to a new perception of reality, which changes the process from "seeing" the desires of the spirit to "knowing" the desires and thoughts of the spirit. As we know all too well, death separates the living from the dead, but life gives us the ability to work with these deceased souls to gain new perception and a new understanding of our relationship with them.

The book includes traditional Jesus wisdom based on the belief that Jesus was the son of God, and that he performed the miracle on the Mount of Olives in order to prove that he is "the one whom he promised would take care of his people." Jesus demonstrated that he possesses all-knowing knowledge by creating the Holy Spirit. It is with the help of this Holy Spirit that one can achieve inner peace, by working in harmony with the Holy Spirit. The book also includes traditional Jesus wisdom such as: the seven wonders of the earth, the Ten Commandments, Jesus' disciple, the virtue of love, and even aphorisms like "The greatest thing that anyone can do with his hands is to Feed the hungry person." It is for these reasons that believers are encouraged to study and implement the teachings contained in the book of Acim.

The workbook of acim is available on Amazon and other online retailers for a very reasonable price. One of the best things about this book is that it is written in a very friendly and helpful way, which makes it very easy for students to use and understand. The only requirement for downloading the PDF file from Amazon is that you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Amazon to gain access to the contents. This workbook comes complete with a worksheet that can be used to practice various miracles.

For those who have doubts whether or not there is any truth behind the existence of God, and those who do not believe that God works in such mysterious ways, the worksheet can serve as evidence for their point of view. The workbook contains the names and addresses of local churches that hold services dedicated to praying for the souls of the lost, according to the teachings contained in the book of Acim. The book of Acim also includes testimonials from a number of individuals who were involved in the practice of the miracles performed in the book of Acim. Among the testimonials is that of David O. Schucman, who was a practicing Catholic before he accepted Christ as his savior. He became a very active member of the Holy Cross Church in Escondido, California, for several years. He left the church because of what he considered to be wrong practices and beliefs.

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
